The PUNCH: The National Assembly has expressed fears over the worsening insecurity in the country, particularly the recent attacks on the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, by terrorists.

The Guardian: Barely six months to expected completion of the $2.8 billion Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) pipeline project, indications emerged yesterday that the delivery of the project may remain elusive despite heightened momentum for Nigeria to export gas to Europe.

Vanguard: The Senate yesterday lamented that the escalating wave of insecurity has made Nigeria unattractive for foreign direct investment and urged security chiefs to up their game to halt the ugly trend. He also added that there is nothing to show for the huge investment in security.

This Day: Former National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) and ex- governor of Edo State, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, has said the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, cannot be held responsible for the performance of the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Oshiomhole spoke yesterday on “The Morning Show”, a programme on Arise News Channel.

The Nation: The feud between Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike deepened yesterday. The Board of Trustees (BoT) rejected Wike’s supporters’ demand for the resignation of the National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

Daily Trust: The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Wednesday slammed a N5 million fine on Trust Television Network (Trust TV), owned by Media Trust Group, over the broadcast of a documentary titled “Nigeria’s Banditry: The Inside Story”, which was aired by the station on March 5, 2022.
